I resisted writing this for so long because really what do I have to add at this point? The magical, editor and blogger favorite, Drunk Elephant Sukari Babyfacial,  is the most powerful but least irritating "peel" on the market. People go crazy for it. It's the bestselling product at Sephora of all time. I tried it at Sephora 3 times before I bought it - my skin kept getting better. And, when I say tried it I mean twice I took home samples, and one time I washed my face in the store, applied it, then walked around for 20 minutes. The nice thing about it (on top of all the other nice things like effectiveness, and lack of irritation) is that it goes on clear. It doesn't have a strong smell. My husband doesn't hate/notice it.

And what is it effective at? Minimizing the appearance of pores and fine lines, clearing off dead skin and leaving behind an unbelievable radiance that emanates from within. It comes with it's own tiny bottle of oil to use with it, but in addition to that, I like to add some bounce serum (before) and priming moisturizer rich (after) to really plump up my skin which is so primed to take on some extra moisture after the peel. Also, I avoid retinol and other exfoliating ingredients for at least 24 hours after. Don't forget sunscreen, lots and lots of sunscreen.

BONUS TIP: I use this before I apply my self-tanner to my face every week. It ensures the most seamless, smooth, even, and natural-looking application!
