I love, love love meeting other bloggers, which was why I was so excited when Allie reached out to me on instagram and asked if we could grab lunch. It was a total creative, meeting of the minds luvfest and I was so sad (well, medium sad, part of me was sad) that I am going to New Orleans tomorrow and will miss this amazing event that Allie is hosting this Saturday. (That's her modeling, isn't she the cutest thing you've ever seen?)

The pop-up shop is going to showcase the collections of her friend and designer, Tina Reith, creator of Georgette Crimson.

Having checked out the website myself, I love the play between grown up and little girl. It's like if Celine and Gossip Girl circa 2005 had a love child. It's sophisticated, western boho. It's like a wearable version of the western spread in this month's Glamour, a prediction of the turn away from 60s hippies to the Wild Wild West but painted in sepia tones where every role is played by Charlize Theron and Bridget Bardot. I can picture Sophia Coppella and Kirsten Dunst wearing it when they hang out to drink wine and talk about boys.

Of course, Tina captured it much better:

"Georgette Crimson is an eclectic womenswear label built on the curiosity and inspiration of everyday - the patterns, textures, moments, and people that we breathe in as we explore our worlds. Fall 14 is a capsule collection inspired by Chess Club & Queens. "

If you find yourself wandering around on union st in the marina on Saturday May 17, from 11 - 5pm, stop by the Teed Haze store for an exclusive sneak peek of the collection and to shop the pop-up for SS14. Meet the designer,  and have a glass of bubbles. (Wish I could be there!)

Pre-order her fall collection at www.georgettecrimson.com starting this weekend
RSVP to Allie@teedhaze.com for the event

Personally, I'm not sure I can live without her amazing, heart shaped Leone Bolo Tie
